Call it rebellion, but I really tried to blend in with the crowd. It didn’t feel right. We could get along but I don’t share your dreams. ’Better safe than sorry’... well, not for me. Television, Radio, Small Talk, I will never conform! Don’t get me wrong. I really wish I could be a bit more like you: Satisfied easily. Never surprised, but also never let down. I’ve seen darkness a couple of times. I know how disappointment feels. Feeling bad? Believe me I’ve been there. Wasting days, waiting for ages for one single moment ‘I’m gonna make it’. Just like every time I was wrong. I don’t know how to get rid of this ‘all time low’. Should I resist or just let go? I could wait for the undertow to take me away. Everyday I tell myself that hope is for suckers. Hold on to all your dreams. They’re destined to fail. Don’t wait for miracles to happen. I’m truly hoping someday I will understand. Keep on making the same mistake. I keep telling myself that practice won’t make perfect instantly. Wasting days, waiting for ages for one single moment ‘I’m gonna make it’. Just like every time I was wrong.
